Learn to meditate easily, from someone experienced
Whether you are brand new to meditation or ready to go deeper – this is a grounded, human and genuinely transformative place to begin.
It changed mine!
Not just as a relaxation technique. But as a resource that held me together when everything else fell apart – through chronic pain, profound loss and the kind of difficulty that tests everything you thought you knew about yourself.
After 25 years of committed practice within the Tibetan Buddhist tradition I can say this with complete honesty: meditation does not just change how you feel. It changes how you see life, how you respond and how you relate to your own experience.
Many people come because they are struggling – with anxiety, stress, sleep, overwhelm or a feeling of deep disconnection. Others come because they sense there is a quality of inner life available to them that they haven’t yet found a way into.
Meditation works with you exactly as you are – and over time it builds something genuinely valuable. The ability to be present with your life rather than constantly at war with it.
Meditation is not an escape from life. It is a way of learning to be more fully alive in it.
There are two ways to work with me. Both lead to the same place – a steadier, more peaceful and more alive relationship with your own experience.

“Olivia is a genuine and sharing guide. There’s an honesty and simplicity to her approach. Reality really isn’t what we think it is. Meditation can help us experience the nature of ourselves and the universe. Olivia helped me meditate more effectively.”
– Andrew, Australia
“I gained a lot of insight from working with Olivia. Positive self talk can work as long as we are consistent. Also allowing for there to be hard times and not trying to avoid those feeling but instead letting them pass through. The key is to not wallow in the bad and try and celebrate the good whenever possible. Very helpful and brought great awareness.”
– Katy, USA
“A powerful process giving space for deeper connection with the body to allow feelings and emotions to emerge, be welcomed and be acknowledged. In a frenetic paced world, giving pause for embodiment. Thank you”
– Diedre, USA

Do I need to be religious to meditate with you?
Not at all. My own background is Tibetan Buddhist – a tradition I find to be one of the most profound frameworks for understanding the mind that exists anywhere in the world. But I always teach in a completely secular, faith-free way.
People of all faiths and none work with me. Whatever your background or beliefs, they are fully welcomed here. I see you as a person, not your belief systems. You don’t need a spiritual framework – you only need curiosity and a willingness to explore.
I've never meditated before, is that okay?
Completely okay – in fact, many of my students come with no experience at all, and there is something genuinely lovely about beginning from scratch.
Starting fresh means you haven’t picked up any of the unhelpful habits or misconceptions that can make meditation harder. I will guide you gently from wherever you are – in a way that is simple, practical and adapted to you specifically. You don’t need to know anything. You only need to show up.
It’s usually much easier than you think!
I really struggle to meditate, can you help me?
Yes – and you are far from alone in this. Most people find meditation difficult at first, and many give up because the instructions they’ve been given just don’t suit them.
The truth is that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to meditation. What works beautifully for one person can feel impossible for another – and that’s not a personal failing, it’s just how minds are different.
When we work together, I take the time to understand how your particular mind and body works, what gets in the way for you specifically, and find an approach that genuinely fits. Many people who believed they simply couldn’t meditate discover, with the right guidance, that they can – and that it becomes one of the most valuable things in their life.
Can mindfulness help my anxiety?
Yes, mindfulness can be a helpful way to manage anxiety. By learning to bring your attention to the present moment, rather than getting caught up in worries about the future or thoughts about the past, you can begin to develop a calmer, more compassionate relationship with yourself and your experience.
Anxiety can leave you feeling trapped in a cycle of overthinking, tension and anticipation, making it difficult to relax or feel safe in your own body. Mindfulness helps you gently recognise these patterns without judging yourself or feeling that you need to fight against them. With practice, you can learn to notice anxious thoughts and physical sensations without automatically getting swept away by them.
Rather than trying to force your mind to become quiet, mindfulness invites you to slow down, reconnect with your body and meet your experience with greater awareness and kindness. Over time, this can help you respond to anxiety with more ease, rather than being controlled by it.
There is no need to be good at meditation or to have a completely quiet mind. You can start with just a few minutes a day and build your practice gently, at your own pace.
Everyone’s experience is different, and mindfulness isn’t a cure for anxiety or a replacement for professional support when it’s needed. However, it can be a valuable tool alongside other forms of care, helping you cultivate greater self-awareness, emotional resilience and a deeper sense of inner calm.
Can mindfulness help with my pain?
Yes – and this is something I know from the inside, not just from experience working with others. Mindfulness won’t take the pain away. But it can genuinely transform your relationship with it. When we live with chronic pain, so much of the suffering comes not from the sensation itself but from the fear, resistance and bracing around it – the constant fighting against what the body is doing. Mindfulness gradually teaches you to meet pain differently. With less reactivity, more steadiness, more space around it.
Over time, many people find that while the pain hasn’t changed, their experience of it shifts considerably. They feel less controlled by it, more able to find moments of genuine ease – and more present in their life as a whole. That shift can be profound.
